Re: Fellowship in Christ's Death
If you want to enter into full fellowship with Christ in His death,
and know the full deliverance from self, humble yourself.... Accept
every humiliation, look upon every fellow man who tries or vexes you as
a means of grace to humble you....Let us gladly glory and take pleasure
in weakness (2 Cor 12:9-10) in all that can humble us and keep us
low....We will find that the deepest humility is the secret of the
truest happiness, of a joy that nothing can destroy. --Andrew Murray
And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is
made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in
my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I
take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions,
in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
(2 Cor 12:9-10)
Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you
died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is
our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth:
fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which
is idolatry. (Col 3:2-5)
"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but
Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live
by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
(Gal 2:20)
