Re: Hell is in Siberia?
according to an article translated from a Finnish newspaper named "Ammennusatia" a group of Soviet geological scientists drilling a hole about 14.4 kilometers (almost 9 miles) deep in the crust of the earth in remote Siberia claimed that they heard human screams emulating from deep within the hole.
They said that as they were drilling the drill bit suddenly began to rotate wildly, indicating that they had reached a large empty pocket, or cavern, and that when they did the temperature sensors immediately showed a dramatic increase in heat to 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit.
VW: This is a longer narrative, and includes the Soviets running a microphone down this hole and hearing "screams" of "thousands, perhaps millions" of people. And allegedly, "the appearance that same night of a fountainhead of luminous gas shooting up from the drill site, and out of the midst of this incandescent cloud pillar a brilliant being with bat wings revealed itself with the words (in Russian): "I have conquered" emblazoned against the dark Siberian sky."
UPDATED & REVISED:
But in hearing that file....I would have to say it is clearly a hoax.
The quality of the file was very poor. And yet, from my music background...I also tuned pianos, designed/installed PA systems, and did various kinds of recording with my own equipment....and while in professional classical music, have also been in recording studios....so I have an understanding regarding certain things regarding 'sound' and recording techniques....and what comes out the hearing end of a recording....but in spite of the poor quality, and over the web, there were some tell-tale indicators of 'how' the recording had (actually) been made.
The file is a poor quality 'concoction' done, possibly in somebody's own home (?) with, perhaps, a multitrack recorder....but for sure with some sort of artificial echo/reverb device. Whatever the case, the 'phasing' is sooo 'manufactured', there is nothing "natural" to it. It was manufactured/manipulated. And rather than being "thousands/millions" of voices, it was merely a 'handful' of voices, overdubbed. And the "screams" are even of poor -acting- quality. They are not screams of terror, dread or pain at all....but poor substitutes of high-pitched "shouting" and phony sounding wailing and such....as of people 'pretending'. In the background hash it also almost sounds, actually, like a party, with some 'laughing' included.
(October,2010 This past summer one hot summer night, my bedroom window being open, I found myself awakened around 1-2:00 am by the sounds of a neighborhood beer party about a block away, reverberating through the houses and trees. By the sounds, there must have been several dozen people there. And as I lay there, analyzing what I was hearing, was thinking how many similarities there were to this audio clip. Girls were screaming, guys were shouting and laughing; continual, ongoing, non-stop cacophony for 2-3 hours.)
But in the recent acquisition of this clip, and listening to it many times, I think I have figured out a way to point even the untrained ear to its deception. Some of the audio events in the clip are looped: that is, the same identical sounds repeat themselves, unchanged. Speaking, singing, screaming... anything done by the human body is like snowflakes and fingerprints: no two are exactly alike. And so, for any alleged event that spans a few seconds, to have sounds that exactly replicate themselves is a sure give-away of electronic manipulation, and thus the indication of a hoax. For Star Trek fans, it's like the episode where Data performed a music recital; each performance was 'identical'.
As you listen to this clip notice the 'male' voice that occasionally rises above the din: :04, :18, :32 the voice goes "moo a ha ha ha" in identically the same way. And notice according to the counter, they each happen at exactly :14 seconds of each other. A 'loop'. There are other sounds that particular male makes, but not as easy to point out in words.
There is a female inflection that is a little harder to discern due to the background hash: :02, :16, :29 that are also real close to the same ":14 second" interval of that male voice, but in their own spots.
Some other sounds also seem to loop, but I have not wasted any further time to ferret all of them out to document them. It seems like they loop at intervals other than :14 seconds. So, like I said...perhaps done with a multitrack recorder, putting some loops on one track, other loops on another, and then mix the whole mush together and Voila! "Sounds from Hell"!
So...did this even come from the Soviet era? It clearly did -NOT- come from a microphone being stuck in the ground. Besides which, if the temperatures rose, as claimed, the microphone would have been melted into drippy mush.
If it is the case that there "is a great chasm fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you are not able, nor can those from there pass to us." (Lk16:26) how is it that some alleged Soviets were able to reach someplace that even Abraham could not? They didn't.
Besides, if one checks out the other offerings at YouTube purporting to be sounds from Hell, the moderator of one link claiming that "God hates people", produced some contrivance done in a big echoic room: a deep bass voice going, "Hah, hah, ha!" and some gremlin/vermin sounding raspy voice in a contrived British accent, making 'fighting' and 'arguing' sounds against the "Hah, hah" voice. They have NO CLUE as to the reality of the Lake of Fire! It's merely a 'big joke' to them!
Jesus "Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil," (Heb2:14) as He cried out from the cross, "It has been finished!" (Jn19:30)
"...and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us, who believe according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies, far above all rule and authority and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church," (Eph1:19-22)
"It is Christ who died, but rather is also raised, who is even at the right hand of God..." (~Rom8:34)
Jesus Christ is "the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords," (1Tim6:15)
