Re: "V" & the Church?

"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder; for Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works." (2Co11:13-15)

"so that Satan should not take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his purposes." (2Co2:11)

"But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will proceed to more ungodliness. And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort, who have strayed concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection has already come; and they overthrow the faith of some. Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands firm, having this seal: The Lord knows those who are His, and, Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity." (2Ti2:16-19)

Following the "V" topic a couple weeks ago, last week's episode stirred up in my heart how the show even illustrates how satan has infiltrated the Church. Really, being a show about reptiles in disguise, with sinister plots, it is a blueprint for how satan's kingdom works. Jesus said he is a liar and the "father" of lies; and was a murderer from the beginning. (Jn8:44)

More plot in brief: This black alien, requiring special techniques to patch up a wound he received in his arm, is joining in with a human resistance cell that is seeking to re-group and recruit more to the cause. The humans think he's human. In the sub-plot he's portrayed as an alien who has misgivings about the alien agenda, and thus is supposedly sympathetic to the human cause. But remember the dog and snake? The snake bit the dog once they reached the other side of the river, because... well... it was a -snake-. This particular alien is not being -honest- with the human fellow-cell members; is not telling them his true identity; but is joining up with the humans to help them ferret out the aliens; his own kind.

It is now known that the FBI 'partner' of what seems to be a primary female character, is an alien. Now that he is recovering from wounds and has awoken, realizing that she knows his true identity, wants to go back to kill her. (to not betray their collective secret) You know, like the saying: How can a secret be secure between two people? If one of them is dead. But the female alien leader says 'no'. There is 'purpose' to keep her alive. (And according to the promos, the alien agenda is to be revealed next episode)

Meanwhile, the female FBI agent has discovered that the "jackets" are actually spy devices, which broadcast video images back to an alien control room.

The "cute girl" we mentioned who has lured in the FBI agent's son to wear the jacket? She, it turns out, is the alien leader's daughter; and when the boy's mother nearly discovered them (and their jackets), the alien daughter disrobes down to her underwear, to make the mother think they were making out. (which, they weren't) And when she gets back to the mother ship, mother encourages her that she "did good" towards the agenda.

So, first of all, the non-Church item: Last time we observed how the first episode of "V" seemed to essentially spell everything out, pretty much as is actually happening in the world today. And the 'spy' jackets? Well, one of today's headlines from NewsWithViews.com says, "Internationalists Push for the Creation of World Spy Agency"

Actually surveillance on the general populace has been going on for quite some time, now. The things that make it to the evening news are the red-light runner cameras that funding generates. But if you look at the poles and attached arms where the lights hang from, there's a -LOT- more gizmos attached all over the place than -just- traffic cameras. Americans? If you have one of those new "enhanced" driver's licenses (that makes it easier to cross borders with Canada), they already GOTCHA! (if they want to) They contain GPS tracking, as well as: their software has your data so that, you can be in your car even at some distance, and they can 'read' the license and pull up on their computers all the data that is linked to you. If you have the license on your person, and they are looking for you? You cannot hide from them.

So, then, to the CHURCH considerations:

Many ask the question as to 'why' would a false prophet proclaim in Christian churches -against- evil, if they themselves are evil? Would that not be counterproductive? Indeed, Jesus said,

"If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?" (Mt12:26)
Well...satan knows that he has a "short time left" (Re12:12) He's not playing for the long-term goals, because he knows he is doomed. But if in his quest to destroy humanity, he needs to sacrifice his own integrity, it's a small price to pay to take more of humanity with him to the Lake of Fire.

Like the black alien in "V", covertly joining forces with the human resistance cell to ferret out his own kind.

And so satan, his demons and his false prophets...proclaiming against HIMSELF and his devilish kingdom of darkness? -INDEED-!! Because if the false prophets can deceive people into thinking they are angels of light, the Church will listen, believe and receive what they have to say. And remember....it only takes 1% error of the wrong doctrine to be condemned for eternity.

In electronic circuits it does not require bullet holes or obliteration by a bomb to make the circuit not work. All it requires is something as innocuous seeming as a cold solder joint, or hairline fracture of the solder or circuit board trace. Things that, unless the technician got it under a bright light and magnifying glass, might not be visible to the naked eye. But nevertheless will make the circuit, and ultimately the entire device, not work.

Some years ago, the late 70s, there was a fellow by the name of Johnny Todd, who had allegedly been in the Rock industry, but was now a "christian", and -warning- church people of the evils of "christian" rock-n-roll. Somebody gave me a copy of the tape of one of his talks. He described in intimate detail many things that certain groups did, which he named names, and how these groups were actually satan worshippers, but were -pretending- to be christian IN ORDER TO GAIN ACCESS into the churches, and through the Rock, to corrupt the churches; because at its core, Rock -is- of the demons. Then, a couple weeks later one of the people in the church I was attending, who had given the tape, heard that he had been involved in some scandal, and was in prison, and who-knows-what-else. So....-BECAUSE- Johnny Todd was proven to be a fraud in these other things, these "christians" who, in their heart-of-hearts REALLY -LIKED- "christian" Rock, used his status as newly discovered 'fraud' to discredit, in their own minds, the -TRUTH- he had actually proclaimed about the "christian" Rock industry. And the people in that church continued merrily along, now with a new vengeance FULLY EMBRACING Rock. But when they didn't know he was a fraud, they were terribly -fearful- of their involvement in that music, and were ready to turn away from it. But once his fraud was exposed: Oh good! It's OK to use "christian" Rock, because Johnny Todd is a fraud, and what he said (truth) is a lie.

About a week ago David Cloud's mailing addressed some similar issues regarding entities like Answers in Genesis and Institute for Creation Research. They both provide useful services in Biblical apologetics related to Creationism. But in their associations they fellowship with wolves. They proclaim Biblical Truth, but are ecumenical. The girl proclaimed, "These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation." (Ac16:17) Oh, wonderful! She's helping them evangelize! She proclaimed Truth. But no... she was demon-possessed.

Some years ago (I can't find it right now, for a reminder of the specifics) you long-time subscribers will recall when I went to a meeting over here at Post Falls, ID to hear a speaker from Answers in Genesis. It was not Ken Ham, but somebody else... I forget his name, now. His presentation on Creationism and Evolution was wonderful. But then he closed the service with what was supposed to be a personal testimony. Based on his testimony (the "confession of his mouth" Rom10:9-10) I left that meeting wondering if he was even Saved! And when I e-mailed him after returning home, his reply was of a complaining spirit: that I would be so nit-picky, questioning his doctrine.

I know the stuff about Dave Hunt is at the website. Right after my unequal yoke had left, somebody took me under his wing to 'counsel' me, in the modern New Age "christian" psychology. He claimed to be a Christian, and was in the church where I was attending and 'active'... and since I was hurting, I listened to him. But there was stuff he said that -just- DID NOT MATCH the Scriptures. Somebody else around that time gave me one of Hunt's books on psychology. That book spelled out and explained what I had been seeing in the counseling, but knew was not right. I subscribed to Hunt's monthly newsletter for several years. All, seemingly, solid. Then Hunt came to town and spoke at a local Calvary Chapel. The message seemed Right-down-the-line Solid. So far, I was not yet detecting any errors in his words and books. At the end of the service, while shaking hands, I asked him 'how' he gains entrance to the churches were he speaks, in view of their doctrinal differences. In his newsletters he would proclaim against charismania, but there he was, speaking in a Calvary Chapel. And his newsletters would list his speaking schedules...a -lot- of CCs. His response to me was that he is never invited to speak, and never goes, where they differ doctrinally.

Hmmm! First inkling...

Either what he had been writing in condemnation of charismania was not what he believed, or he was lying as we shook hands. Then, it was a bit after that, that the question of "repentance" came out; I think(?) in response to one of his books on doctrine. (I didn't read that one) He did not view repentance as a 'necessary' doctrine to be proclaimed. (By then I had not been subscribing to his newsletter anymore) Somebody sent me a later answer from him as to his definition of repentance. His view was that we 'repent by believing'. In other words, he doesn't believe in Biblical Salvation. Jesus said, "unless you repent you will...perish" (Lk13:3)

To say something like "repent -by- believing", makes as much sense as to say something like: Wash the dishes -by- sitting down to the meal. Wash the car -by- filling the gas tank. Clean the house -by- sitting down to watch TV. Repentance and Faith are two -different- things. True, Salvation 'includes' -both-. But one is not the other. There is so much adherence to the "church fathers" of the "reformation" from which that false doctrine "Sola Fide" (faith only) originated, and many false teachers keep teaching it today...HOW MANY are going to the Lake of Fire because of false prophets who proclaim 99.99% truth??? During the days of the Reformation, many of the Bibles of Roman origins had "repentance" worded as "penance", and knowing how Rome handled penance, they 'protested' against Rome's abuses...and rather than discovering the correct word, repent, they threw it out entirely and proclaimed "sola fide". Faith only.

Sure...satan proclaims "faith". He believes in that doctrine. As Jacob says, "Even the demons believe, and shudder" (Ja2:19)

Hunt, back then, replied to his questioners that it's "better" to not include talk of "repentance", because it's too "confusing". Many have confused Biblical "repentance" (heart condition before God) with catholicism's "penance" (works). Jesus commanded that "repentance and remission of sins be preached in His name" (Lk24:47) Jesus commanded -to- preach "repentance". To throw out repentance is to throw out a key Salvation Doctrine...without which, according to Jesus, the sinner 'perishes'.

Again...as Paul did to Timothy, we've mentioned names here. But the same disclaimer we always quote... "the Lord knows those who are His" Perhaps they just don't know any better, and they are saved IN SPITE OF themselves? I do not judge them. Just observing the 'confession' of their mouths. And Jesus did say, "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks" (Mt12:34)

But as David Cloud was saying in that recent mailing...if 99.99% truth is proclaimed, that is not the "whole counsel of God" (Ac20:27) In the case of Salvation, .01% is that hairline fracture on the circuit board. The circuit won't work. There is no Salvation! And if we fellowship with those who "shrink back" from doctrine, Jesus also said,

"Whoever therefore -RELAXES- one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of Heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of Heaven." (Mt5:19)
The message is to "observe -ALL- things" God has commanded. (Mt28:20)

Because...

"-EVERY- Word of God is pure" (Pr30:5)
If a Believer is in -fellowship- with a proclaimer of (only) 99% truth, in reality such a person is in fellowship with "darkness" (Ro13:12, Eph5:11)

Today's emerging church (the "V" aliens) has been proclaiming and singing for years, "Walls come down" the walls of -DOCTRINE- that separate. That's what doctrine is -SUPPOSED- to do! Separate between the holy and the profane. (Le22:15, Ezk22:26,44:23) And Paul says...

"Now I exhort you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and snares, CONTRARY TO THE DOCTRINE which you learned, and TURN AWAY FROM THEM. For those who are such DO NOT SERVE OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple." (Rom16:17-18)

And so, what about "V"s cute girl? The other day somebody asked advice regarding a preacher who apparently surfs porn sites and posts his sermons among the links. I went to the site: and while there are some links that seem OK, a very high percentage are obviously 'porn' clips. They are the ones that predominate the pages that open. Thus the predominant impression is that it -is- a 'porn' site.

What about that old argument where they twist Paul's words about "becoming all things to all men"? You know: "When in Rome". Where their own flesh -likes- Rock music, when a spiritual Believer would confront them about the wrongness of it, they would "excuse" (Ro2:15) it by twisting Paul's words; like Saul did when God told him to totally destroy the Amalekites, but they saved the "best of" the cattle and whatnot, his excuse was, "to sacrifice unto Jehovah your God". And what did Samuel retort?

"Has Jehovah as great a delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in to obey the voice of Jehovah? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry" (1Sa15:15,22-23)
The spy jackets might be discovered, so let's pretend we were having sex, instead. If I post some -sermons-, then I can be excused for surfing porn sites.
"What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Let it not be! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?" (Ro6:1-2)
After all, did not Jesus talk with prostitutes? Many confuse and say that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute. No...she had been demon-possessed and Jesus cleansed her. (Lk8:2) But when He speaks with the woman of Samaria, He did not go knocking at her place of business. He meets her when she is away from that, getting water, where her mind is not in the gutter of her activities.

You're not going to -save- a person while they are high on drugs, or passed out drunk, nor can you tap on the shoulder those engaged in prostitution and suggest talking about God and Salvation... because "God loves you and ACCEPTS YOU JUST AS YOU ARE!" No, He does not!

"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God for pulling down strongholds," (2Co10:4)
For many years the emergent 'church' has been proclaiming "waves of revival". Don't judge lest you be judged. (Mt7:2) But they refuse to continue down that very same chapter to where Jesus says it is the "few" who are making it to Heaven (vs14), and that there are many false prophets who are wolves, but come in sheep's clothing. (vs15-23)

So, you think you're the ONLY ONE getting to Heaven; and not ALL OF US?? Well, that's what Jesus said. How can (lonely) you be right, and ALL OF US be wrong?? Don't you know there is power in numbers? Might makes right. Look at all the 'scholars' we have, the "church fathers". Well, the Bible -translation- controversy was in existence way back then. Their translations were in error, according to the error of Rome, whose scholars produced them. And if ALL OF YOU are looking at the wrong road map, ALL OF YOU are going to end up in the wrong place.

No... True Believers do not "judge" (Mt7:2); that is God's domain. (Ac10:42, 2Ti4:1, 1Pt4:5) But we are warned to "-BEWARE- of false prophets" (Mt7:15)

Yes, the world is on the path to global religious unity. While the world will be meeting in Copenhagen next month, formulating a global government based on the Trojan Horse facade of "climate change"; another meeting is apparently happening around the same time in Australia for the united global religion. And as it did centuries ago, Rome has its tentacles poking around in both.

Thus, for the True Church of Jesus Christ, that body of Believers who have been purchased by His "precious blood" (1Pt1:19) and "washed" (Rev1:5), "not by works of righteousness which we have done" (Tit3:5); it is now a time of -SEPARATION- ... -NOT- 'UNITY'. God calls...

"Come out of her, My people, so that you not share in her sins, and so that you not receive of her plagues." (Rev18:4)
So, they refuse Biblical Doctrine? The verdict is clear...
    "TURN AWAY FROM THEM." (Rom16:17)
Amen!
