Re: Who's Your Daddy?

"you shall not bow down to [idols] nor serve them; for I, Jehovah your God, am a jealous Mighty God, visiting the iniquity OF THE FATHERS UPON THE SONS to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me" (Ex20:5)

"Therefore, just as THROUGH ONE MAN sin entered the world, and death through sin" (Ro5:12)

"For as in Adam everyone dies, even so in Christ everyone shall be made alive." (1Co15:22)

"But the NATURAL MAN does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he is not able to know them, because they are spiritually discerned" (1Co2:14)

"We...were BY NATURE children of wrath" (Eph2:3b)

Politics in this country is crazy these days. While the UK has just celebrated another royal wedding, this country has 'celebrated' the fact that our president, at the goading of Donald Trump, has finally made public what he claims to be his birth certificate. I say "claims", because there are now those who claim it is a forgery, for various technical reasons. Even my untrained eye, thinking about how things were done in 1961, recognizes some inconsistencies, enough to realize that it is a modern-day graphic 'manipulation' of some sort, and not a simple 'copy' of the 1961 original. But that's not the point I'm hoping to pursue here. Caesar and his minions can duke it out amongst themselves. My "citizenship is in Heaven", and I am waiting for Christ (php3:20)

But supposing, for the sake of this discussion, that it is a legitimate and truthful document, what's the BIG DEAL anyway? Even the document, as presented, assuming it to be 100% factual, leaves our president in a legal constitutional pickle, as to his eligibility to even BE president.

A US president must be a 'citizen'. Now... US citizenship (to result in the rights and priviledges, and ability to vote) is fairly easy to come by for a 'generic' citizen. People do it all the time. But to become president, some extra little specifics must also be met. Foremost, he/she must be a "-NATURAL- BORN" citizen.

When this recent certificate came out, it proclaims that Barak II was born in Hawaii. US soil. And all the agenda-driven pundits have smugly proclaimed with glee: See? He was born in the US... so now shut up already; and accept him as your president.

But being born -on- US soil is "-native- born"; not "-natural- born". According to the dictionary, "native" carries the aspect of -geography-. For instance, cactus are usually native to desert areas. Jack rabbits are native to N.Dakota, Wyoming and other such places. The original residents of this continent are called "native Americans"; and most people think that refers to the ethnic tribes who were herded into the reservations; with names like Sioux, Mandan, Navajo, Tacoma, Cherokee, etc.

However, -anybody- who is born on US soil is "native". Thus, those of Euro-ethnicity, born here, are "native Americans". Those whom the agenda-driven segments insist on hyphenating as "African-Americans" (even though most of them have never even been to Africa, let alone claim any sort of citizenship there, nor do they know any native African language), if those people were born on US soil are, in reality, "native Americans". By definition. They were born here; they are 'native' to where they were born.

Since I was born in Japan, I am not a native American. But I was "natural born" American, and could be president. (Not that I would ever WANT to be!! Please, no!!) My father was native and natural born and a citizen, which my birth certificate clearly states. And according to the "Law of Nations" the "CHILDREN NATURALLY FOLLOW THE CONDITION OF THEIR FATHERS AND SUCCEED TO ALL THEIR RIGHTS"

Barak Obama II's father was a native of Kenya, and a British subject. By definition, Barak II was -NOT- "natural born" American; even though (if the certificate is correct...which some question; and even his own wife years ago declared in public speeches that II was Kenyan born) "native born" in Hawaii.

And, supposing someone would ignore this Law of Nations explanation for the wording in the Constitution, and scratch after constitutional wording about "either parent" being a citizen, in Friday's Patriot Post mailing it was pointed out that Barak II's mother was "statutorily" too young at his birth to confer "natural born" status. She was 18. In 1961 "18" was old enough to get married and enlist in the military, but to drink and vote required "21". Thus, on the account of -both- parents, Barak II is disqualified from being president. But primarily, that his -father- was a foreigner, and a British subject. Barak II's "natural" status at birth was, thus, "British-Kenyan". And this is no 'fault' of Barak II. He could not help how he was born. But, neither can he legally be president.

Now, why is this so important? Supposing a foreign monarch wanted to conquer a nation, and this Law of Nations did not exist, a foreign monarch could father a child through a US citizen woman, and when the child grew to adulthood, they could attain to leadership, and claim their heirship to their foreign father, and claim the nation for the foreign monarch. (in the most simplistic of concepts) Those who wrote our Constitution had come from a heritage where monarchs of nations routinely intermarried their offspring and would forge alliances and enlarge their empires through marriage. This concept of "natural born" was included to guard against foreign take-over by marital subterfuge.

By the way, we defined "native" as -geographical-. "Natural" includes the aspect of being "related by blood". And before our modern feminism and women's lib, genealogy was spoken of as "seed", a term that is used often in the Bible. It is the -male- who gives the seed. Genealogies are listed in the Bible as father-to-son, son-to-son. And in keeping with that tradition, Barak I being Kenyan/British could not possibly procreate a "natural born" US citizen.

But in the same way that people have been throwing the taunts back and forth about -where- was Barak II born (native born), WRONG QUESTION; the sinner also refuses to see the "natural" state of the sinner. And the modern Bible translations that have removed the word "seed", contribute to a muddying of this doctrine; just like currently most American people are looking for Obama's "native" birth, rather than his "natural" birth.

We were -all- (native) born into this sinful world... geography. And they try to contrive this reason and that excuse for why we are 'legitimate' in the eyes 'of the gods'; as we pull ourselves up by our own bootstraps, and better ourselves through self-esteem, and all the various ways by which mankind considers himself to be just... really something superb. (I'm worth it!) Our "natural" birth doesn't even enter the discussion. Here I am, I have made myself into this wonderful 'something', and just LOOK AT ME NOW!

But we are "NATURAL BORN" -SINNERS-. We were born through the seed genealogy starting with Adam. Adam sinned and died. His state of sin and death conferred "naturally" to every male-sired living human after him. The "CONDITION OF THE FATHER" (SIN) conferred to the offspring.

That is why Jesus was born the "seed of the -woman-" (Ge3:15), and Joseph was not His father (Mt1:25), but was sired by the Holy Spirit (Mt1:20, Lk1:35) and is called the "Son of God".

The "condition of our father" Adam was death. When/if we become sons of God the "condition of our [new] Father" is "resurrection" from the dead. (1Co15:21)

But how do we become sons of God?

"For...you received the Spirit of -ADOPTION- by whom we cry out, Abba, Father" (Ro8:15)

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of God, to those believing into His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." (Jn1:12-13)

When this happens, the "condition of our Father"...Jesus who -is- "LIFE" (Jn14:6, 11:25)...is conferred upon us.

It is not anything that we -do-. It is not the level and quality of our faith. It is the "CONDITION OF OUR FATHER" which is transferred to us.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are from God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ..." (2Co5:17-18a)
