Re: Serpent Saves Paradise?

As older Star Trek series run their courses, new ones always seem to
take over. They always seem to overlap a bit. The new series begins a
year, or so, before the old one ends. As "Voyager" is in its final
season, this year a new one began... "Andromeda" It's captain, Dillon
Hunt, the same actor that used to play in the series "Hercules", based
on mythology (which I only ever saw bits and pieces of).

In the episode from April 21,01 the primary theme was of an idyllic
'human' settlement, needing protection from slave-trade capturers. The
tribe's 'priest' was trying to prevent the people from defending
themselves with weapons, instead 'praying' and speaking of "faith". It
was beginning to sound like a leftist indoctrination of disarmament in
the face of enemies. However, when "faith" failed and the priest was
killed, the savior was the hatching of a batch of Magog/human hybrids.
These Magog have demon-like facial features, and are by nature brutal
killers...feared by most races.

Several times in the program the Magog 'daddy' was chanting the mantra:

I am darkness -become life (or "light"? without replay, I'm not sure)
I am darkness -become the way
I am darkness -become the truth

When the quickly-grown Magog hatchlings saved the day at the next enemy
attack, the closing concept from the Magog 'daddy' was, "we saved
paradise by introducing the serpent."

From "Next Generation's" Jean Luc Picard and his loathing of any
concept of "God", to their god-buffoon "Q", DS9's yoga and martial arts
religion, to Voyager's promotion of Native American 'mother earth'
religions... they all little by little chip away at man's concept of
the Most High.

But I must say that this episode of Andromeda is the most blatant yet,
of giving satan God's attributes and Christ's work of salvation.

Notice the mantra, essentially quoting Jesus' words describing Himself
where He says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to
the Father except through Me." (Jn14:6) But notice, that part of Jesus'
essence is "light". "In Him was life, and the life was the light of
men" (Jn1:4) Jesus said, "I am the light of the world". (Jn8:12, 9:5)
But notice how they pervert... that out of "darkness -becomes-" all of
these attributes which belong to Jesus.

Those who are "by nature children of wrath" (Eph2:3) are those who
follow their master in "works of darkness" (5:11) and their part will
be in the "outer darkness" where there is "wailing and gnashing of
teeth". (Mt8:12,etc) You see, "the people who sat in darkness have
seen a great light" (Mt4:16) when Jesus came as Savior. Salvation does
not come from darkness, but from Jesus "dwelling in unappoachable
light" (1Tm6:16)

But notice who their 'savior' is. The "serpent". "..the dragon, that
serpent of old, who is the devil and satan.." (Rev20:2) Being from "of
old" since the Garden of Eden, where he enticed Eve to disobey her
husband and God.

Another thing that finally sunk in during this episode is the label of
this race, "Magog". (I had missed it before because of how they
pronounce it.) Another Scriptural label. Magog is found coming against
Israel. (Ezek38:2) It is also found at the end of the peaceful
Millennium of Christ's rule, when satan is release from his chains one
last time to deceive the nations "Gog and Magog, to gather them
together to battle..." (Rev20:8) as he makes one last military attempt
against Christ and the "camp of the saints". (vs9) In this show, Magog
was Paradise's "savior".

You see, the apostasy is so far down that "broad way" to "destruction"
(Mt7:13) that they no longer need to be subtle. There is no strong
Christian witness any longer, that the world is able to take Scripture
and totally twist it, and nobody is any the wiser. In America, an
alleged "Christian nation", satan now has free rein. He no longer hides
behind a "christian" facade...but boldly proclaims satan-worship.
Jesus' attributes are his own. Jesus is not the Savior, the serpent is.

The stage is set for the "man of sin", the antichrist. They don't make
even a pretense of paying homage to Christ any more. They do not
"confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh". (1Jn4:3) The
serpent has Jesus' attributes. "..the spirit of the Antichrist, which
you have heard was coming..." ??? "..is now already in the world".

With this kind of utter distortion already in place, how much further
in the future, how soon is the coming of Jesus Christ? "..when the Lord
Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire
taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not
obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." (2Th1:7-8)

Are you ready to meet the Lord? The serpent will not save you. Magog
will not save you. Salvation does not come "out of darkness". Salvation
does not come from being "spirit-filled". It -only- comes from Jesus
Christ. NO ONE comes to the Father, except through Him. "Nor is there
salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given
among men by which we must be saved" than "by the name of Jesus Christ
of Nazareth". (Acts4:12,10)

You might worship the gods of this present age. But ultimately you will
bow "at the name of Jesus" (Phil2:10) because God has exalted Him and
"given Him the name which is above every name". (vs9) From which side
of the great divide will you do that? Will you be bowing at His throne
after you have just received your "Crown of Life", (Jas1:12) or on your
way to the Lake of Fire? (Rev20:11-15)
