" Suppose you Miss the Rapture? "
"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive
you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go
you know, and the way you know." (Jn14:3-4)
"Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all
be changed; in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last
trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised
incorruptible, and we shall be changed." (1Co15:51-53)
"For the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a shouted command,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the
dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall
be caught up together at the same time with them in the clouds to meet
the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord."
(1Th4:16-17)
Who are these promises for? Who gets to go to Heaven? Everybody? Lest
anybody might want to accuse us of being too full of "law", let's keep
this in the N.T. and the teachings of Jesus. People love to quote:
"Blessed are the poor... blessed are the meek... blessed are the
merciful... blessed are the peacemakers..." and "theirs is the Kingdom
of Heaven" (Mt5:1-9)
"And as you would have men do to you, you also do likewise to them."
(Lk6:31)
"Judge not, that you not be judged... And why do you look at the twig
in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the beam in your own eye?
Ask... seek... knock... and it will be opened to you" (Mt7:1-7)
These... quotes from what is popularly known as the "Sermon on the
Mount". Would not those within hearing of Jesus' words that day have
considered themselves, all, to be part of the Kingdom? They were all
Jews, God's special 'chosen' ones? But in this very same sermon Jesus
also goes on to say...
"Beward of false prophets... A good tree is not able to produce evil
fruit, nor is a corrupt tree able to produce excellent fruit. Every tree
that does not produce excellent fruit is cut down and thrown into the
fire. Therefore from their fruits you will know them...
"Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of
Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven. Many will say
to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast
out demons in Your name, and done many works of power in Your name? And
then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, you who
work out lawlessness!" (Mt7:18-23)
And it says, "the multitudes were astonished at His doctrine" (vs28)
How many people today will be "astonished" when the Rapture takes place,
Christ has come to take home His Believers, and -they- will have been
left? One is taken, another is left. (Mt24:40-41)
But Lord!!! I was sitting in the TV studio "praying" for people. I was
waving my hands over somebody to "heal" them. I was -COMMANDING- "in the
name of Jezzzzus" for the demon spirits to leave. But I and all these I
was ministering over are left. We have just been having this huge
meeting in the stadium and people have been coming forward and coming
"under the annointing" ...all these people lying all over the floor as
though dead...but we are all still here.
That's because they are of the "bad fruit". They are pretenders. And
furthermore, many of them have deluded themselves that there is NO
RAPTURE; that those who just disappeared were the unbelievers, taken in
judgment. And from 'now' on all the churches are going to get along
together towards the united world religion.
But for some, the Holy Spirit is going to start tugging at your heart.
No! They're all wrong. You 'missed' the Rapture. While all those
thousands are coming "under the anointing", there will be a "few" left
who know that things are NOT RIGHT. As Jesus said...
"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way
that leads to destruction, and there are many entering in through it.
Because narrow is the gate and distressing is the way which leads unto
life, and there are FEW WHO FIND IT." (Mt7:13-14)
So 'how' will the few find Eternal Life? As we are in the last days we
are told about the LAST SERMON that will be proclaimed to the world...
"And I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the
eternal gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth; to every
nation, tribe, tongue, and people; saying with a loud voice, Fear God
and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; also, do
homage to Him who made the heavens and the earth, the sea and springs of
water." (Rev14:6-7)
As God's wrath is due, what is the closing "gospel"? This gospel is not
for the angels. It is not for the demons: they already have their place
reserved for the Lake of Fire. It is not for those who have already
crossed over the "gates of death" (Job38:17); it is/was appointed for
man to "die once and after this the judgment" (Heb9:27) If they've
already died, they know what their fate is. If they were just raptured,
it's not for them, they have just received their reward.
This final message is for "those who dwell (present tense) on the
earth". What is that final Word from God to mankind? What is the one
thing man refuses and rebells against?
THAT GOD EXISTS!!!
Give glory to God. And in case there is a question about -who- that
might be: He is the one who -MADE- everything. Man looks at something
that was built, and they look for 'who' built it.
"For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is
God." (Heb3:4)
But God...? Oh, no! Don't be silly. He doesn't exist. When somebody
builds some thing, they often also publish a "manual" for its operation.
Well, God 'published' a Manual for His creation. The Bible. In it He
informs us 'where' He intended for mankind to dwell, and the rules for
our existence. He did not create other planets or worlds for habitation,
even though they keep spending time and money to send rockets to Mars,
and peer through their telescopes hoping to find something in a nearby
galaxy. But God already told us he created man and put him on the earth.
(De4:32, Is45:12, Jer27:5)
Thus...forget about doctrinal words like propitiation, justification,
spiritual birth, substitutionary atonement, and all that. It's not at
all complex. The 'master' tells his servants to go out and "compel them
to come in, so that my house may be filled" (Lk14:23) Just ACKNOWLEDGE
YOUR CREATOR. God exists. God -made- everything. You see something
marvelous? God made it. Receive the invitation.
But what does man do?
Perhaps: Oh, I've got plenty of time. Sure, I said I would 'believe'
later. Well, friend...that "later" is -now-. The fact that you said
"later" means you know God exists. But are you recognizing Him?
Perhaps you scoffed: Awe! Rapture Scmaptchure! See? I'm still here. Big
harry deal! If that is your heart, then may you receive everything from
God's judgment that you have coming, and deserve.
But supposing you are of a penitant and compliant heart towards God, and
you are wishing you had "received Christ" (Jn1:12), is it too late? Is
it not possible for the sinner to come to God.
And in keeping with the times of rebellion the ones who remain on earth
likely have a program in place to do with Bibles what they've been doing
with guns. After all, the "sword of the Spirit is the Word of God"
(Eph6:17) There are no Bibles left that haven't been destroyed. How
will you learn the Way to Eternal Life?
Just ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR CREATOR. GOD EXISTS. God -made- everything. You
see something marvelous? God made it. And from the OT prophet comes this
word...
"For everyone, whoever CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD shall be saved."
(Rom10:13, Joel2:32)
Just receive His invitation...
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you
rest." (Mt11:28)
And what will be your path to Heaven? Martyrdom.
"And it was given to him to give spirit to the image of the beast, that
the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not
do homage to the image of the beast TO BE KILLED. And he causes all,
both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark
on their right hand or on their foreheads, so that no one may buy or
sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number
of his name." (Re13:15-17)
But...
"I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to
them; and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their
witness to Jesus and for the Word of God, who had not done homage to the
beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or
on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand
years." (Re20:4)
If you put these two passages together, is it not clear that the coming
time of Jacob's trouble will not see any -live- Christians. If a person
comes to Faith in Christ after the Rapture, their Faith will result in
their death. But they also will "reign with Christ".
"And I heard a voice from Heaven saying to me, Write: Blessed are the
dead who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, that they
may rest from their labors, and their works follow with them." (Re14:13)
If you're reading this after the Rapture, you don't have any time left!
You must decide!
"And he said to me, Do not seal the Words of the Prophecy of this Book,
for the time is at hand. He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he
who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be
righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still. And behold, I am
coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according
to what his work shall be. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning
and the Ending, the First and the Last. Blessed are those who do His
commandments, that they may have the right to the Tree of Life, and may
enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and
sorcerers and prostitutes and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves
and produces a lie." (Re22:10-15)
Amen!
