" No More Prayers: Too Late "
"Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry nor prayer for
them, nor make intercession to Me; for I will not hear you." (Jer7:16)
"And he said to me, Do not seal the Words of the Prophecy of this Book,
for the time is at hand. He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he
who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be
righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still. And behold, I am
coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according
to what his work shall be." (Re22:10-12)
Is God's mercy forever endless? Will God's mercy endlesslyly forever
forgive the sinner? Does it matter if a person continually rebels
against God, knowingly and purposely insulting the Spirit of Grace?
What about sadness and empathy for the lost? Does not a person 'yearn'
for the lost soul of a person dying after an eternity of being unsaved?
If a person has purposely rejected the Lord, in hard-hearted rebellion,
and they are now -dying-, does one not cry and in a state of anguish, be
fit-to-be-tied due to the trauma of them dying? After all, doesn't Jesus
"...NOT WISH for any to perish, but that all should come to repentance"?
(2Pt3:9)
When the angels are in agreement with God's judgment they say...
"You are righteous, O Lord, the One who is and who was and who is to be,
because You have judged these things, for they have shed the blood of
saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink, for they
are deserving. And I heard another out of the altar saying, Even so,
Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments." (Re16:5-7)
And what is the vehemence with which Messiah will judge?
But surely God -cares- about the sinner? He does.
"Cast away from you all the transgressions by which you have
transgressed, and prepare for yourselves a new heart and a new spirit;
for why will you die, O house of Israel? For I HAVE NO PLEASURE IN THE
DEATH OF ONE WHO DIES, declares the Lord Jehovah. THEREFORE TURN AND
LIVE!" (Ezk18:31-32)
The prophet Jonah, after preaching to Nineveh, goes out of town and sets
up camp to watch Nineveh's destruction. After all, the message was, "yet
40 days and Nineveh shall be overthrown" (Jo3:4) And of course, to
Israel, Nineveh was Israel's chief enemy. They've been giving us grief,
and here God is promising to destroy them. Oh boy! Oh boy! Goody goody!
After all, that's why Jonah had opted out and gone the other direction
the first time God called. None of this collusion with the enemy. And so
God makes him an "offer he can't refuse". After rolling around in the
fish's stomach a few days and he gets vomited out, he decides preaching
at Nineveh was a better option...and besides...Nineveh is going to be
"destroyed"! Yea!!!
But the people -REPENTED-. From the king on down to the cattle.
Sackcloth and fasting. The message didn't include any option for
repenting. But they give it a shot...
"WHO KNOWS IF God may turn, and have compassion, and turn away from His
burning anger, that we not perish?" (Jo3:9)
Now, as Jonah is in a fit to be tied because God didn't zap them out of
existence (4:1), and in the back of his mind he JUST 'KNEW' that God
was of the sort to be "gracious" and "slow to anger" (4:2), and Jonah
in a pout prefers death, to living; what does God reason with him?
"...and should I not have pity on Nineveh, the great city in which are
more than a hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern
between the right and the left hand (children), and many cattle (what
did they ever do?)?" (Jo4:11)
On the other hand, recently (as this is being written in May) there have
been a couple of writers making commentary. One shared with his readers
the e-mails
he has received from those of the sexually perverse heart;
telling what they wanted to do to/with him in their sexually perverse
ways, and on and on. This reminded me of Lot's situation. It says of him
"(for that righteous man, dwelling among them, his righteous soul was
tormented from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)
(2Pt2:8)
And as the angels came to town, the perverse ones said...
"Bring...out (the angels) to us that we may know them.... (and when Lot
objects)...don't do so wickedly... they said, This one came in to
sojourn, and he acts as a judge to condemn; now we will deal worse with
you than with them. And they pressed hard against the man Lot, and came
near to break down the door." (Ge19:5b,7,9)
That's pretty much what today's perversity is. Good has become evil and
evil is now good; and if anybody stands up for decency and morality they
are castigated as being "judgmental", divisive, intolerant, hateful. To
hold to man/woman marriage is 'wrong'. If you are such, celebrate your
rainbow drapes, elevated garden boxes with painted decorative rainbows,
black tie and suit as -female- 'husbands' get 'married'
The other writer was apparently receiving (what?) 'condolences' from
readers, because he is a person who regularly writes about the Demise of
this country, America is falling, there is no hope, God's judgment is
coming, it is imminently upon us. They think it is with 'sadness' (?)
that all these people are about to die in judgment. But he isn't sad.
I suspect my own view is similar. As it was prophecied that Jesus would
use His "windowing fork" and the chaff would be burned up with
"unquenchable fire"; as I watch/listen to the news, hear all the
perversity that is going on, and witness all the 'preferred' evil that
people engage in...it is not that they DON'T KNOW the good to do, nor
the evil to stay away from...but they are...well...
"Both hands are on evil, to do it well. Both the ruler and the judge ask
for a bribe. And the great one speaks the lust of his soul; and they
weave it together." (Mic7:3)
It's like the sodomites who wanted to do things with/to that other
writer, sticking things where they were not designed to go. It's like
the lesbians who bedeck their yards with images of werewolves, owls,
griffins, and all sorts of occult chimes and images. It's like those who
bedeck their bodies with tattoos, typically of demons and the occult.
It's like those who engage all forms of pagan religion, but anything
that is to/for Jesus Christ is taboo.
And in this latter, it is NOT that they DON'T KNOW which is which and
are confused about correct doctrine...THEY KNOW. They know to be
accepting of all the various ecumenical dialogue and consensus...but
that which they REFUSE is whatever is TRUE BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY, that
which is from the Bible, being based on Repentance from sin and
Receiving Jesus Christ as Savior. Yes, they clearly know the difference
between -Biblical- Christianity, and the so-called "christianity" that
is the domain of Babylon, Protestanism, Mormonism, Charismania and even
pretend Islam as they have joined together into a meld called Chrislam.
They know. They are NOT IN IGNORANCE.
Thus, as Jesus said about the ones deserving of worse punishment,
"And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare
himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes,
shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him
much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they
will ask the more." (Lk12:47-48)
And no! This is not, as our usurper president says, that everyone should
share with each other, the haves with the half-nots, their fair share.
But this has to do with: if you know what the right was, but didn't do
it, but instead spat on Jesus' face where He died on the cross, and
wilfully and deliberately trampled on Jesus...you are worthy of every
punishment you get.
As I see the world unfolding, I am often heard muttering in the
direction of the TV as the news is being given...
JUST SWEEP IT ALL AWAY! GET RID OF IT! GET RID OF THE FILTH! LET
JESUS CLEAN UP THIS WORLD AND MAKE IT RIGHTEOUS!
My sadness and tears are no longer for the 'people' who wilfully
spit at Jesus. It is tears for the manner in which the holy God is
trampled. And it makes me angry.
"Do I not hate them, O Jehovah, who hate You? And do I not loathe those
who rise up against You? I hate them with complete hatred; I count them
my enemies." (Ps139:21-22)
When I say these things, there is no longer feeling for those that are
dying. It's too late. For those few that there is yet hope, it is with
an urgency as the angels said it as Sodom was being destroyed...
"Escape for your lives! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the
plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.... Hurry, escape
there! For I cannot do anything until you arrive there." (Ge19:17,22)
And when destruction comes, it says...
"And all the tribes of the earth will wail because of Him."
And I find myself in full agreement:
