" Three Faiths: or One? "
"There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one immersion; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." (Eph4:4-6)

"Hear, O Israel: Jehovah our God, Jehovah is one. And you shall love Jehovah your God with all your heart, with all your soul, exceedingly in every way." (De6:4-5)

"Now I exhort you, brethren, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be completely fitted together in the same mind and in the same judgment." (1Co2:10)

"Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning the common salvation, it was necessary for me to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were set forth to this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny the only Lord God, even our Lord Jesus Christ." (Ju1:3-4)

"But even if we, or an angel from Heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed." (Ga1:8-9)

On 12/26/11 there was a 2-part program on PBS called "Three Faiths, One God: Judaism, Christianity, Islam" (an Islamic examination of the three religions) which needs to be refuted. With the sliminess of the serpent that beguiled Eve (2Co11:3, 1Ti2:14), the elements of the program, that had a 2006 date on it, this past year (2011) has yielded meetings between (so-called) christians and muslims, into a fellowship called Chrislam.

First of all, before continuing on, let's make one thing perfectly clear: This author and ministry adheres to neither Judaism, Christianity nor Islam. If that sounds like a shocker, seeing as how we hold to the Scriptures, please review the article from last year "Salvation: apart from Christianity?" [link] Around here we try to make the on-going distinction between "christians" and True -Biblical- Christians.

This program on TV was an Islamic propaganda piece. Let's see if we can bring their main points condensed down into a simple nutshell. The basic gist is that Abraham existed; and that he also -built- (established) the place in Mecca where muslims go for the "haj" (pilgrimages) Contrary to the Bible account, Abraham also allegedly took Ishmael for the sacrifice. In their reasoning, if Isaac and Ishmael reunited to bury their dead father jointly (Ge25:9) and are listed together in Abraham's genealogy (1Ch1:28) and Ishmael's progeny are listed first (vs29), before Isaac's (vs34) Ishmael was -NOT- rejected. (Ge21:10, Ga4)

The legacy of Abraham was the Torah (Old Testament). As history progressed, along came Jesus (the prophet); and with the new prophet, new writings (New Testament). The NT 'supercedes' the OT, since "Christ is the -END- of the Law" (Ro10:4) (Yes, they know to use Scripture when it suits their purposes) And as history progresses further, along comes Mohammed, a new prophet, with new revelations and writings. (Koran) Just as the NT supercedes the OT, the Koran now supercedes the whole Bible.

If anybody has studied, and sees other 'facts', these presented here are what the program proclaimed.

They showed several meetings and 'dialogue' sessions being conducted in typical dialectic/consensus style. The notable one was the youth conference. They would go around the circle, different ones speaking their mind. But the muslim girl was the most -vocal-. And so the 'floor' was given to the Jewish girl next to her, she starts to speak, and the muslim girl cuts in, interrupts and continues to talk. The Jewish girl, seemingly of nicer character does not push herself back into the discussion, smiling politely, giving place to the muslim girl. And in this manner, in several of these meetings, it was a "muslim agenda", even though claiming to be all-inclusive. And in the youth meetings, when the kids were finished talking (Uh...the big-mouth muslim girl having had dominance), then the muslim 'facilitator' would 'review' and sum up the 'conclusion' from the "joint" discussion (hogged by the muslim girl), and preached the gospel according to Islam...claiming that Islam 'fulfilled' everything in the Bible, and was now the next step in theological revelation. i.e. It -was- Abraham, -then- Jesus, -now- it is Islam.

According to the propaganda, what is Islam? It is a religion of "love". The opening words of the Koran: "In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful."

Ignoring words of the leader of Iran to wipe Israel off the map, and the (so-called) Palestinians have maps with No Israel on them, and teach their children so, and refuse to acknowledge Israel's 'right' of existence as a nation; thinking some of us forget words of wrath against Israel and the west: "First the Saturday people, then Sunday"; they produce this program along-side rabbis and priests. The rabbis, of course, from Judaism. Christianity was represented by a lone episcopalian priest/bishop. It is not the purpose here to tell all that is evil about Islam, there is a collection of things at the website in Islam, in general: [link]

One thing was interesting as they switched from person-to-person, as I'm trying to follow if the speaker is from Judaism, Christianity or Islam, as they are all speaking an amalgamation of the same thing, this one fellow appears before the camera, and dangling down the front of his robes this -huge- amulet with the distinct image of the "madonna and child"....and, it was an Imam from Islam. If this intrigues you, be sure to check out (in the link above) the item: "How the Vatican created Islam" One thing I have become more atuned to in the last couple years is the relationship of the amulets a person bedecks themself with, and the evil spirits that my spirit "witnesses" to, in them. (Rom8:16)

Speaking of which: -all- the speakers on the program, from all three religions, had pure 'evil' in their countenances.

For a program claiming to discuss the three religions, in the instruction in worship, one would think, in all fairness, that they would show worship from all three. In fact, they did not. Only how to bow and pray the opening verses of the Koran. The muslim facilitator demonstrated, and led all those present to bow, with their foreheads touching the floor, as they repeated after him...facing Mecca.

The program's Emphasis: religion faith religion faith religion faith. Other than the opening Koranic words on beneficence and mercy, they did not get into the nitty gritty of Koranic doctrines: the stuff where husbands beat their wives, how jihad is carried out to kill infidels. They don't want people to think of muslims as martyr-hungry souls whose mothers praise, and hope to raise more children, so that they, too, will grow up to be martyrs as they perpetrate Jihad upon the infidel.

Now, to repeat: I am neither of Judaism, Christianity nor Islam. This is not "grinding an ax" on behalf of christianity over Islam. If those three want to get together, pretending to love each other, and dialog, that's up to them. They all worship the same god anyway. [link] The blind leading the blind, falling together will end up in the same place. (Lk6:39, Mt15:14) Their god is not the Most High Jehovah God, the Almighty Creator of the heavens and earth.

"I am Jehovah; that is My name; and My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to graven images" (Is42:8)
A True Biblical Christian is not part of -any- of the three. All the so-called "holy sites" at Jerusalem will soon come under God's judgment and destruction.

While they continually spoke of "religion" and "faith", CONSPICUOUSLY ABSENT from any discussion was the PRIME BIBLICAL DOCTRINE: that God created a perfect world, man fell into sin, deserving the judgment of death; but that Jesus, God's Son (more than a mere prophet), came to earth as a Man, died (taking man's punishment), and for whoever will "repent and believe the gospel" (Mk1:15) and "receive" (Jn1:12) Jesus as Savior, will "not perish but have eternal life" (Jn3:16)

They argued and discussed "religion" and human relationships on this earth, as everybody learns to 'get along' and respect each other's religious beliefs. But as Paul says...

"If in this life only we have hope in Christ (clinging to religion), we are of all men the most pitiable." (1Co15:19)
The program also addressed people like us. According to them, the MOST DANGEROUS people on earth are those who militantly hold to ONLY ONE -RIGHT- WAY, and who refuse to 'give-and-take' with other religions.
"Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins." (Jn8:24)
God does not accept religion. When Israel had ceased to obey God, and embrace pagan religion, God says...
"I hate, I despise your feast days; and I will not savor your solemn assemblies. Though you offer Me burnt offerings and your grain offerings, I will not be pleased; nor will I regard the peace offerings of your fat animals." (Am5:21-22)

"When you come to appear before Me, who has required this at your hand, to trample My courts? Bring no more vain sacrifices; its incense is an abomination to Me. I cannot endure the new moon and sabbath, the calling of assemblies, and the wicked festivals. My soul hates your new moons and your appointed feasts. They are a burden to Me; I am weary of bearing them. And when you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you. Even though you multiply prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood. Wash yourselves, purify yourselves. Put away the evil of your doings from My eyes; stop doing evil." (Is1:12-16)

When Jesus proclaimed His own Deity, when asked, "are You the Son of God" and he replies "you said it!" (Mt26:63-64) that was His death sentence, "He is worthy of death" (vs66)

When the disciples proclaimed Jesus' Deity in the Resurrection, that became the basis for persecution (Ac4:2) And when they proclaimed that "there is NO OTHER NAME" (Ac4:12), it was the proclamation of Jesus Christ that made the Jews erupt in a riot, "he is not fit to live" (Ac22:22)

When I was a child there used to be a song that children used to sing:

    One door and only one
And yet its sides are two
    Inside and outside
    On which side are you?
Jesus proclaimed:
"Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep." (Jn10:7-11)
These people who dialogue and -trick- people into the worship of Allah by teaching "how to" pray, getting everybody to bow down and touch their foreheads to the floor, are MOST EVIL. As each of the 'scholars' were speaking on camera, watching the darkness in their eyes, the 'twitchings' of their heads and bodies as they spoke...I think the most evil of all was the -old- episcopalian bishop, speaking slowly, looking straight into the camera with his glistenning hate-filled black beady eyes. It was as if satan himself was speaking into the camera. And I suspect that many viewers become demon-possessed just watching the program.

A certain man was seeking to hear God's Word, but the sorcerer Elymas "withstood" Paul's words....

"Then...Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him and said, O full of all deceit and all mischief, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the right ways of the Lord? And now, lo, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time. And immediately a dark mist fell on him, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand." (Ac13:9-11)
Not very 'loving' or 'ecumenical' was he! Rather one-sided and a know-it-all. But the proconsul, seeing God's power, believed.

No... ecumenism and "agreeing to disagree...agreeably" is NOT the method to win the world to Salvation in Jesus Christ. When the apostasy of the 70s used to conduct dialogue-to-consensus, NOBODY EVER GOT SAVED. Sinners did not come to God and His righteousness, but christians slid the slippery slope to denial of the Bible. Today when they conduct dialogue-to-consensus (these workshops they showed on the program reminded me SO MUCH of what I used to see and attend in the 70s, and when I, the lone Christian would seek to guide the group from "I think" to, "this is what the Bible -SAYS-; I was dubbed "judgmental", and ultimately ostracized by the "christian" community.) NOBODY IS BEING SAVED and GOING TO HEAVEN. Rather, those who, from their labels and affinity to the Scripture, might have had a chance to hear and be saved (Rom10:17), but when it is a muslim 'facilitating' the worship, and people learn to 'worship' together, touching their foreheads to the floor and praying to Allah... rather than Heaven, they are going to the Lake of Fire. And since they are accepting of 'not judging' other beliefs, their hearts are 'open', their 'house' is 'empty' (Mt12:44-45); and just like charismania asking to be "spirit-filled" as they look upwards and open wide their arms, after having babbled with their mouths in gibberish; these do it with their heads to the floor, instead....and they become demon-possessed. NOT SAVED.

Islam lies. Do not be deceived! Who is the father of lies? (Jn8:44) Satan. God is "without lie" (Tit1:2) Jesus -is- the very essence of "Truth" (Jn14:6)

Is it "three faiths"? Well, it -is- the same god. Thus, in reality, it is the -same- 'faith'. Of the "god of this world". The Nimrod originated Queen of Heaven. They might speak of Mohammed, and belittle women, but the trinkets and amulets a person wears, like the tattoos by which they deface their bodies, indicates the true heart. When a person functions as an imam, but wears the amulet to the "madonna and child", it is clear that his heart is dedicated to the Queen of Heaven. The same one Rome worships. The same one Israel worshipped and thus was scattered in diaspora.

"...whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, so that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine on them." (2Co4:4)
God says...
"But to this one will I have regard: To the lowly and contrite of spirit, and the one who trembles at My Word." (Is66:2b)
