A Voice in the
"For our citizenship is in Heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ," (Php3:20)
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber." (Jn10:1) "But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief comes, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be dug through. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man comes at an hour you do not expect." (Mt24:43-44)
"The Law and the Prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it. But it is easier for Heaven and earth to pass away than for one point of the Law to fail." (Lk16:16-17)
"La Gran Marcha" Hundreds of thousands of people of central American descent demonstrating in various US cities, chanting the Latino slogans, many of the sentiments being equivalent to: "death to the Gringo". (Sounds vaguely familiar, eh: like the taunts from Islam, "Death to America!") Marching through American cities waving flags... not US flags, but Mexican. In some cases the US flag (on sovereign US soil) is flown 'below' the Mexican flag, and upside-down.
This article is not about N. American politics, but current events do provide us with a striking object lesson regarding the Kingdom of Heaven. Many people are oblivious to the political firestorm that is erupting; and they are even more oblivious to the Truth regarding God's Kingdom.
Both the media and our politicians cloud the "alien/immigration" issue by deliberately confusing and mixing up the terminology, just as people do the labels "christian", "grace" and "salvation". There are many hoping to attain Heaven as "illegal aliens" without having to go through the correct lawful procedures to become "immigrants" into Heaven.
When I read various sources, this current Latino uprising seems to be a 'coordinated' effort. It is all part of the globalist plan to make N.America one united entity, just as the EU is in Europe; joining Canada, the US and Mexico into one united N.America. Similar things are going on regarding S.America. This is why President Bush and the politicians are not taking the necessary measures to close up the borders, and 'stop' the invasion. They often speak the rhetoric, but they have NO INTENTION of actually doing it, never did; because the -globalist- 'plan' is to meld the three nations into one. Thus, they speak of "immigrants" instead of "illegal aliens".
What is an "immigrant"? "A person who leaves one country to settle permanently in another". Typically such a person, in embracing the new country, learns the language, takes up citizenship by "swearing allegiance" to the new country.
What is an "alien"? A person who is in one country who "owes political allegiance to another country or government. Belonging to, characteristic of another and very different place, society. Dissimilar, inconsistent, or opposed."
What is "illegal"? "Prohibited by law or rules"
Nations have sovereignty. They have jurisdiction over their own affairs. They have the right to say who can, and who can not enter its borders. People emigrate out of one country to immigrate to another all the time. They go to the appropriate government agencies, fill out the forms, make application. Once in the new country they take classes, learn the history and culture, apply for and swear allegiance to citizenship.
Aliens visit other countries all the time, too. Depending on the mutual relationships between the countries, they acquire visas, work permits, or whatever the case may be. If the two countries are 'friendly', like is the case between Canada and the US, it is a fairly easy thing. In our present age of "terrorism" I'm not sure the details these days, but before 9/11 it used to be you could drive to the border crossing, and simply explain one's desire to "visit", and would get waved through. Upon returning, a simple explanation of what one was doing in the foreign country, or proof of citizenship, and one was welcomed back.
Years ago I worked in Canada, crossing the border regularly, with special "papers" that said it was 'legal' for me to be a professional musician there. But while in Canada, my citizenship was "USA". I was an "alien" there. Since I had the right papers, I was a "legal" alien. But my song of allegiance was not "O Canada", but "O say can you see..." But also, while in Canada, I did not purposely break their laws... If their speed limit sign said "100", I did not push my vehicle up to "100" with some excuse to whoever from the RCMP might have pulled me over, "Oh, sorry officer, I DIDN'T KNOW the difference between 'km/h' and 'mph'". Or even better yet...to mouth off and tell the officer "what he could do" with his stupid law.
But also, while being an "alien" in Canada, I was not an "immigrant". I did not move there. I would go rehearse and perform, but 'home' was always on the US side of the border. The money from paychecks I earned was spent mostly at 'home' in the US.
So, what of this invasion from the south? Certainly, there are those who are in this country legally: they have gone through the legal processes, moved here with their families, pay taxes; and in many cases have taken on US citizenship. They speak English, and swear allegiance to the US flag. They are "immigrants", as is -most- of the US population that immigrated from all over the world; we are a nation, by definition, of immigrants. Over the years I have known various fellow-US citizens of Mexican heritage (as I am of German, Irish, Japanese heritage), and they were nice people.
But the ones who 'sneak' through the borders: they work, don't pay taxes, and send large percentages back across the border. They refuse to learn the language of the nation. Their allegiance is to the Mexican flag. They are, by definition, "aliens". And since they refuse to go through legal channels to even get work visas, they are also "illegal".
And now they have also come up with their own anthem, with different words, expressing their 'alien' heart.
This also is precisely what is going on regarding the Kingdom of Heaven.
And before we go further here, please understand: We are not talking about ethnic bigotry. We are talking about correct definition of terms.
There is a term called, "christianity". People who claim allegiance to this term, by one definition, are called "christians". I heard/read a figure the other day, based on some poll, that claims the US population is comprised of 30% "christians". Recent news has included the Afghan who 'converted' from Islam to "christianity", given asylum against martyrdom, in Rome. If his "christianity" is based in Rome, there are also statistics that suggest that something approaching 30% of the world is also "christian".
Christianity speaks of "Heaven". Islam speaks of "paradise"; which is also a Christian place. Thus, that's pretty much 60-70% of the world's population that thinks it is on its way to Heaven/Paradise.
How are they getting there? Islam worships Allah, the moon god, and has as one of its religious symbols the crescent moon. Christianity (the 30% mentioned above) worships the sun, and as its symbol has the host, Balda, monstrance.
Paul had a vision of Paradise and heard things "which it is NOT LAWFUL for a man to utter" (2Co12:4) Why "not lawful"? Because "flesh and blood is not able to inherit the kingdom of God" (1Co15:50)
For most of those who claim to be "christians"... where is their allegiance? They like to dress (or undress) like the world, they lust after the world's lasciviousness. Even when they -claim- to be worshiping God, they do so with satan's music; and if a True Believer chides them for their carnality, rather than receiving reproof, become angry, making excuses for their worldly allegiance.
"Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world; the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life; is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and its lust; but he who does the will of God abides forever." (1Jn2:15-17)
If a person loves the world, whilst claiming to be a "christian", they are an "illegal alien". They are "making claims" for Christ and His kingdom, while showing their true allegiance to the world, their 'country' of origin, in sin.
It's like the one sitting at the wedding feast, not wearing the proper garment, and the master comes along, "Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment? And he was speechless" (Mt22:12)
He's taken up residence in a seat at the table, but is not wearing God's "robe of righteousness" (Is61:10) He is there "illegally". What is the verdict?
"Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." (Mt22:13)
What is the First and Great Commandment (Law)? (Mt22:36) "You shall love Jehovah your God with all your heart, with all your soul, exceedingly in every way" (De6:5)
And so "christianity" proclaims a gospel of love. "By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you have love..." (Jn13:35)
But if a person continues down that passage, most people ignore the part where it says, "You shall fear Jehovah your God and serve Him, and swear by His name. You shall not go after other gods, the gods of the peoples who are all around you..." (De6:13-14)
Swearing, in this context, is not the flippant utterances of profanities. In this context it is not blasphemy. But it is "to make a solemn declaration, a solemn promise, a vow, to bind oneself, with ultimate conviction"
In circles like Freemasonry the swearing of an oath of allegiance includes the parameters that, if the swearer breaks the oath, he is subject to the slitting of the throat and other torturous manner of death. Other secret societies have other similar such clauses to their oaths.
But people "make claims" (for Christ), and "continue living in sin" while intoning "graaaeeesss". Is such a thing possible? "LET IT NOT BE!" (Rom6:1-2) "How" is such a thing possible? They are illegal aliens!
If Freemasonry "slits the throat" of an oath-breaker, does God have any similar 'clauses'?
When a person goes by the "way which seems right to a man" the result is "the ways of death" (Pr14:12,16:25) The only way to get to Heaven is to be "born from above". (Jn3:3) Salvation comes -only- through the Person and Name of Jesus Christ. (Jn14:6, Ac4:12,10) "Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him." (Ps2:12)
If a person "makes claims" for Jesus, but does not live according to the Laws of his "adoption" (Eph1:5), he is a "liar, and the truth is not in him" (1Jn2:4)
In the first century Church the -disciples- (those who had sworn to Jesus Christ, and lived according to His commandments, many of whom gave their lives for Him) were called "Christians" (Ac11:26)
That's what a "disciple" is: one who
They claim to be "Christians" but they continue to walk "according to the course of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience," (Eph2:2) They don't obey the Laws of Heaven. They live like the world, like the devil...that after which their heart truly yearns, even though pretending otherwise.
And God's Law does not fail. He maintains sovereignty over His domain. And when they might have hoped to gain entrance, Jesus, the One they rejected and cursed, will say to them, "I never knew you; depart from Me, you who work out LAWLESSNESS!" (Mt7:23)
In terms of God's Kingdom: ILLEGAL ALIENS.
